Care/Content Labels - Ordering Guide

Care/content labels may be ordered through any one of URBN’s nominated suppliers, a different third-party print shop, or manufactured by the vendor. Please note that all care/content labels must adhere to all product marking requirements regardless of where they are produced.

If choosing to order woven care labels through a nominated supplier, you will be asked to provide the item code. These are specified by brand (Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie Group (Anthropologie, Weddings & Terrain), Free People, and Nuuly) and further divided by color. Images of each label type by code are available below.

• For dark apparel and home textiles, please order the appropriate black care label by brand.
• For light apparel and home textiles, please order the appropriate white or ivory care label by brand
• For items where the information is screen printed at the back of the garment, an additional label containing any missing information should be included on the side seam.
• If you choose to make your own Care / Content / COO Label, please follow the specifications outlined in the Care & Content Label Examples guide. Dimensions do not have to be exact.
  • Translations are available if needed. If a translation is not included, please use Google Translate.

There is a minimum order quantity of 100 units per label when ordering through CheckNet. Please allow 15 business days for the processing of your order.

Label Item Codes

Home Textiles & Accessories Labels - Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie Group & Free People

1. UR-ALLCARE5: standard white loop label – Use on Home Textiles and Accessories.
   Contains all required languages for Care / Content.
   Contains COO in English, French, and Spanish.
2. UR-ALLCARE6: standard black loop label - Use on Home Textiles and Accessories.
   Contains all required languages for Care / Content.
   Contains COO in English, French, and Spanish.
3. UR-ALLCARE2: standard white straight label – Use on Home Textiles and Accessories.
   Contains all required languages for Care / Content.
   Contains COO in English, French, and Spanish.
4. UR-ALLCARE7: standard black straight label – Use on Home Textiles and Accessories.
   Contains all required languages for Care / Content.
   Contains COO in English, French, and Spanish.

Urban Outfitters

1. URBN-GC1U: standard black, white or ivory label – Use on all Apparel.
   Does NOT contain English and French COO.
   Use in conjunction with a separate COO label.
   English and French COO need to be on the back of the neck/waistband.
2. URBN-GC2U: standard black, white or ivory label - Use on all Intimates.
   Does NOT contain English and French COO.
   Use in conjunction with a separate COO label.
   English and French COO need to be on the back of the neck/waistband.

Free People

1. URBN-GC1F: standard black, white or ivory label – Use on all Apparel.
   Does NOT contain English and French COO.
   Use in conjunction with a separate COO label.
   English and French COO need to be on the back of the neck/waistband.
2. URBN-GC2F: standard black, white or ivory label – Use on all Intimates.
   Does NOT contain English and French COO.
   Use in conjunction with a separate COO label.
   English and French COO need to be on the back of the neck/waistband.

Anthropologie Group - includes Weddings & Terrain

1. URBN-GC1A: standard black, white or ivory label – Use on all Apparel.
   Does NOT contain English and French COO.
   Use in conjunction with a separate COO label.
   English and French COO need to be on the back of the neck/waistband.
2. URBN-GC2A: standard black, white or ivory label - Use on all Intimates.
   Does NOT contain English and French COO.
   Use in conjunction with a separate COO label.
   English and French COO need to be on the back of the neck/waistband.

Nuuly - use this label for any style with a Nuuly PO in Anthropologie, Free People and Urban Outfitters

Global care label includes a barcode required for Nuuly POs. Barcode is for internal use and starts with NU, followed by a series of digits. Nuuly label only available in white colorway

1. URBN-GCNU1: white – Use on all Apparel.
   Does NOT contain English and French COO.
   Use in conjunction with a separate COO label.
   English and French COO need to be on the back of the neck/waistband.
2. URBN-GCNU2: white - Use on all Intimates.
   Does NOT contain English and French COO.
   Use in conjunction with a separate COO label.
   English and French COO need to be on the back of the neck/waistband.

Checkpoint Country of Origin Labels

Country of Origin labels can be ordered from any supplier or manufactured in-house by the vendor. COO labels are available for purchase from CheckNet.
The minimum order quantity for these labels is 1000 units and the lead time is 10 days.

Country of Origin Labels – Home and Accessories

These are adhesive backed labels and are NOT intended for textiles or apparel.
