When an item requires a polybag, please follow the below polybag requirements:
Material and Labeling
- Opacity: Polybags must be clear unless noted otherwise by your buyer.
- Thickness: There is no thickness requirement for polybags.
- Sealing: Polybags must be securely sealed to prevent the item from falling out of the bag (zip-lock or self-adhesive), Staples are prohibited.
- Sizing: Product should fit snug inside the polybag to minimize excess space.
- Polybags which arrive torn or do not withstand the receiving and handling process will be subject to chargebacks.
- All merchandise that is shipped in a polybag with an opening greater than 5” needs to have a warning label on the bag that states the following (or something similar): Warning: To avoid danger of suffocation, keep away from babies and children. Do not use in cribs, beds, carriages or play pens. THIS BAG IS NOT A TOY.
- This warning can be printed directly on to the bag, or applied to the polybag as a label
- Vendors using a master polybag to package small, loose units must consolidate units in an opaque polybag and/or apply an additional polybag label showing the product SKU and quantity.
