Under the AGEC Law, producers, importers and distributors are obligated to comply with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) schemes by partnering with authorised Producer Responsibility Organisations (PROs) to manage the environment impact of their products.
There are a variety of PROs that apply to the different EPR product categories. Vendors should ensure that they have joined the appropriate PROs based on the product(s) that they are shipping to URBN.
Refashion is the textile industry’s PRO (clothing, household linen and footwear). Its role is to oversee the prevention and end-of-life management of these items for the companies which place them on the market. Information on how to register can be found here.

Producer Responsibility Organisations (PROs) apply for various product categories, not limited to the textiles example provided above. These include household packaging, electronics, toys, and furniture, and the obligations of these PROs may also differ. The table outlined in the Triman Logo section on Recycling Systems, shows some examples of PROs for these other product categories.
