US Routing Overview

Please be sure you are aware of the freight terms established with the URBN buying team(s).
The routing guide that vendors are required to follow for all booking/routing information correspond with the established freight terms.

N/A (US Domestic) – N/A is not an Incoterm however will be selected to designate vendors where an international incoterm does not apply. An Incoterm does not apply to shipments fulfilled within the United States.

FOB - International shipments where URBN is the Importer of Record. The URBN Vendor delivers the goods to the Place of Handover, loads the goods on the ship, and clears the goods for export. The risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to URBN when the goods are on board the vessel.

DDP - International shipments where the URBN Vendor is the Importer of Record. DDP is the maximum obligation to the vendor. Vendor is responsible for delivering goods to the named place of destination (URBN DC). Vendor bears all costs and risks involved in bringing the goods to the place of destination and must clear the goods for export and import. Vendor must pay all duties, taxes, and custom fees.

DELIVERY REFUSALS:

Merchandise delivery may be refused for the following reasons:

• Merchandise received prior to Ship Date or after Cancel Date may be refused
• DC Cancel date on the PO is the last day the merchandise is accepted IN DC
• Insufficient Purchase Order information on Bill of Lading
• Missing Packing List or improperly marked cartons
• Split or incomplete shipments without prior approval from the buyer
• Merchandise received with an Out of Tolerance Packing List
• Delivery without an appointment
• Delivery to incorrect DC address
